HON. KEOMA GRIFFITH, MP
Minister of Labour & Manpower Planning | Goverment of Guyana
Hon. Keoma Griffith is a member of parliament and Government Minister of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, currently serving as Minister of Labour and Manpower Planning. Widely regarded as one of the youngest members of the current administration, he brings a fresh, forward-thinking approach to governance, national development, and youth empowerment.
An attorney at law, Minister Griffith is a graduate of the University of Guyana’s Department of Law and brings nearly a decade of experience in litigation before the courts of Guyana, including proceedings before the Caribbean Court of Justice. His legal expertise continues to inform his work in policy development, legislative reform, and public administration.
His appointment coincides with the renaming and expanded mandate of the Ministry, which now incorporates personnel planning as part of a broader vision to modernize the labour market. Through collaboration with key stakeholders, Minister Griffith remains focused on strengthening workforce development, improving institutional systems, and advancing opportunities that contribute to a more resilient and prosperous Guyana.
