Ms. Sarona Samaroo is a seasoned strategic leader and Entrepreneur in Offshore Manpower Supply and Business Management.She has over 10 years’ combined progressive regional and international experience in Business Growth and Management, Oil and Gas recruitment, Local Content Development planning and Competency Mapping in the Energy sector.

She completed her Master of Science postgraduate degree at the University of the West Indies in Human Resource Management and graduated with distinction after specializing in Competency-Based Recruitment. Ms.Samaroo currently serves as the Vice President for El Dorado Offshore. She is also a part-time Lecturer for People Resourcing and Talent Management in Guyana.

Her extensive entrepreneurship experience building start-up companies, leading and transforming organizations and offshore recruitment projects in Malaysia, North America, Guyana, Suriname and Trinidad.Ms. Samaroo is a leader in Business Development, Risk and Compliance Management, Revenue Growth and Human Capital Development, predominately in the Energy sector regionally.

Her focus is on the creation of value through assessing new markets to exponentially scale her business internationally, automation and the formulation of efficient and effective local content development policies aimed at streamlining cross functional practices.
