ANYA AYOUNG-CHEE
Fashion-Tech Entrepreneur | Founder of Spöol
Annya Ayoung-Chee is a Caribbean fashion-tech entrepreneur and global ecosystem builder. A former Project Runway winner, she founded her first fashion line in 2009 and relaunched her independent resort wear line in 2025, exporting to luxury destinations across the Caribbean, and North America and now entering the European market.
She created Spöol—a digital matchmaking platform connecting makers of apparel and accessories with global clientele for bespoke fashion products, micro-manufacturing, and alterations services. Spöol has graduated 90+ participants and secured 24 job placements. Previously, she led Nudge Caribbean, which supported 200+ MSMEs and facilitated US$323K+ in funding. She now focuses on fashion, technology, and impact—building infrastructure that democratizes access to quality craftsmanship globally.
